Alexander Hughes Community Center

The Alexander Hughes Community Center is a 31,000 square foot building located adjacent to Lewis Park. It opened in Summer 2001 and accommodates the Recreation and Human Services Department Administrative Team.

Blaisdell Community Center

This satellite facility to the Joslyn Center is located in Blaisdell Park and is home to senior activities and the senior lunch program.

Temporary Closure : We will be improving the Blaisdell Community Center’s kitchen to better serve our program participants. The anticipated construction start date is Monday, February 3. Although the Blaisdell Community Center will be closed for several months during construction, dining will continue to be available at the Joslyn Center. The last day for lunch service at Blaisdell will be Friday, January 31, 2025.

City Yard

The Community Services Department performs maintenance, solid waste, and motor fleet functions for the City. The City of Claremont's Residential Recycling Center is located at the City Yard.

Claremont City Hall

This facility is the primary administrative facility for City government. It is occupied by three major City departments: Administrative Services, Community Development, and the Finance Department. Frequent evening meetings are conducted in the City Council Chamber.
