Park Rangers
To ensure the safety of park users, the City’s Park Rangers patrol Claremont’s urban and rural parks by bike, off-road vehicle, and on foot, and they work jointly with other departments and agencies, including the Community Services Department, the Claremont Police Department, and the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Park Rangers also support and engage the community in activities within City parks, and they facilitate environmental awareness and education on the proper use of City parks through regular contact with park users.
