Intermittent Trail Closures

Annual trail grading operations will take place at the CHWP beginning Thursday, April 24. During this time, sections of trails may be subject to closure to ensure safe operation of heavy equipment. Closures will occur at junctions and alternative routes will be available. Closure areas will be noted with signs and will only remain closed during work periods.

Library Temporary Service Interruptions

Temporary interruptions or library closures may be possible this week when Service Employees International Union goes on strike. The Claremont Library is a County facility.

365 West San Jose Condominium Project

The project is a two-story, 12 -unit residential condominium project at 365 West San Jose Avenue. The project consists of the construction of twelve flat-style units with attached garages in two buildings totaling 24,316 square feet. Map of condo tract with 12 units and driveway through the middle

The project includes two moderate -income units and four units that are adaptable for disabled residents. The project site has been vacant since a single-family residence was demolished in 2014.

The project went to the Planning Commission and Architectural Commission in 2019. Staff has issued the building permits for the projects and grading is tentatively scheduled to begin in April 2025.
