Pay a Parking Ticket

The City issues parking and administrative citations for violations of the City's municipal code. The City uses a third-party citation processing center to collect payment and manage citation appeals.

If you received a ticket that you feel was issued in error, you may contest or appeal the citation. Citations must be contested within 21 days of issuance. Payment of the citation is placed on hold until a decision is made. You may contest the citation in-person with the Watch Commander at the Police Station or online through the Citation Processing Center. Decisions on the contested citation may take up to two and a half weeks. You will receive a determination and may receive a new payment due date if the citation is upheld.

You will need your citation number, the date and time of the citation, or your license plate number to look up or pay your citation.

Moving Violations and Other Tickets

Payment and processing for traffic tickets or other violations issued by the Claremont Police Department, must be made through the Los Angeles Courts at lacourts.org. Please refer to the information on the ticket for appeals and payment.
