Front of Police Station

The Claremont Police Department is located in the Claremont Police Station located at 570 West Bonita Avenue. The lobby is open to the public during business hours. The police station was built in 1972.

Mobile Command Unit - Emergency Operation Center

The Claremont Police Department, in partnership with the Claremont Unified School District and The Claremont Colleges Services (TCS), purchased a mobile command unit through a state emergency operations grant. The mobile EOC may be deployed in times of emergencies to disaster sites. The mobile command center is equipped with satellite service and can run 9-1-1 dispatch.

Staff

The Police Department consists of 41 sworn police officers, 3 sworn reserve police officers, 21 full-time professional employees, 5 part-time employees, and 17 volunteers. The Department also has two K-9 units, Pria and Drew
