For police investigators, a witness to a crime is invaluable. A witness can give investigators specific details to expedite the search for the suspect. Unfortunately, police do not always have a witness to question details on the matter. Security cameras give police that witness by recording the event and many times, giving much more detail of the suspect than anyone might recall. Front Door

The majority of burglars will approach the front door to check if anyone is currently home. By having a camera at the front door, not only is it acting as a deterrent, but if the burglar does break in you have photographic evidence of the suspect. 

Rear Door

Just as the front door camera can act as a deterrent, so can the back. Having multiple angles of the crime can help in small details that detectives are looking for. 

Street View
Street view cameras can be one of the most important views detectives can receive. With a street view camera, detectives can get vehicle descriptions and if the cameras are clear enough, even a license plate. 

Sides of House
The majority of our homes have windows or doors on the side of the house. I single mounted camera to the rear of the house facing the front can give detectives more important angles and details.

  • Cost:  Obviously, if a camera costs so much that you can no longer afford the valuables you’re trying to protect with it, then it doesn’t serve a purpose. Cost is a factor for every purchasing decision.
