Public Hearing Notices

The City of Claremont notices businesses and residents on proposed developments, appeals, and community projects. Each notice contains details of the project as well as information on the public comment process. The City is legally required to notice properties within 300 feet; however, the City may increase the area of notice if the impact of a project will extend beyond the standard notice radius.

Notice of City Council Continued Public Hearing - City Ventures (70-Unit Townhome Development)

Notice is hereby given that at its regular meeting held on May 27, 2025, the City of Claremont City Council, after taking public testimony, continued the public hearing on AGENDA ITEM 10 – TENTATIVE TRACT MAP #84564 FOR THE PROPOSED SUBDIVISION OF 3 ACRES OF LAND (2.67 NET ACRES AFTER DEDICATIONS) FOR A 70-UNIT TOWNHOME CONDOMINIUM DEVELOPMENT PROPOSED ON VACANT LAND AND A DECOMMISSIONED TENNIS CLUB LOCATED AT 840 SOUTH INDIAN HILL BOULEVARD. APPLICANT: CITY VENTURES (CLAREMONT 2 INV, LLC), to resume at its next regular meeting of June 10, 2025, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The verbal public comment portion of the public hearing was completed on May 27. On June 10, the City Council will resume the continued public hearing with City Council deliberations. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 6:30 PM in the City Council Chamber, located at 225 West Second Street.

Architectural and Preservation Commission Review - New Monoeucalyptus Wireless Facility 

The Architectural and Preservation Commission will review the proposed 62-foot-tall monoeucalyptus wireless telecommunication facility at the above-referenced property, owned and occupied by the Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church of Claremont. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the City Council Chamber, located at 225 West Second Street.

Architectural and Preservation Commission Review - Proposed Sign Program  

The Architectural and Preservation Commission will review a proposed sign program for the commercial center located at 985 and 987 West Foothill Boulevard. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the City Council Chamber, located at 225 West Second Street.

Architectural and Preservation Commission Review - Solar Panel on Shade Canopies at Claremont Colleges

The Architectural and Preservation Commission will review the proposed Claremont Colleges Services (TCCS) Solar Energy Project which includes a large array of solar panel shade structures over the parking lots of the Claremont Colleges Services Building – immediately south of East First Street and west of South Claremont Boulevard. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the City Council Chamber, located at 225 West Second Street.
