E-Bike Programs
The GoSGV E-Bike Share Program is a partnership between SGVCOG, ActiveSGV and the City of Claremont. This initiative is designed to empower Claremont residents with an eco-friendly and convenient mode of transportation while promoting sustainable mobility in our community.

Key Program Details
- Cost-Free Membership: Claremont residents can acquire a Go SGV E-Bike Share membership at no cost. Enjoy all the benefits without the burden of membership fees.
- Refundable Deposit: To get started, residents will pay a refundable deposit of $250 ($150 if income eligible) ensuring responsible usage of the E-Bike. This deposit will be fully returned at the end of the membership period. *Income qualified options are available.
- Delivery Option: For added convenience, a delivery option is available for those who prefer to have the E-Bike brought to their doorstep. ($50)
- Flexible Usage: Keep the E-Bike at home
- Local Pick-Up Days: To make your decision easier, we'll be hosting local pick-up days. Residents can test ride the E-Bikes, experiencing the joy and convenience of electric biking before committing to the membership. Sign ups are available same day.
How to Get Started
- Sign up for the Go SGV E-Bike Share Program today by visiting GoSGV.com
- Go SGV Staff will reach out to provide options for pick/delivery.
- Google calendar invite will be sent to secure date/time. Security deposit will be taken at the time of pick up/delivery.
Bike returns: When you are ready to return the bike, simply email us at info@gosgv.com.
E-Bike Rebate Program
Update: There are currently no rebates remaining.
The City of Claremont was offering rebates on E-Bike purchases for Claremont residents through American Rescue Plan Act funding (ARPA).
The Claremont E-Bike Rebate Program allowed Claremont moderate-income adults to receive a rebate of up to $1,000 for any class 1,2, or 3 E-Bike that costs no more than $3,000. Recipients are required to maintain ownership of the E-Bike for at least two years, which the City will verify every 6 months. To be eligible, the E-Bike must have been purchased on or after July 25, 2023.

The City of Claremont E-Bike rebates are subject to funding availability, submission of a completed application will not guarantee issuance of a rebate. Rebates will be issued on a first-come first-served basis as applications are received, until funding is depleted or the Program changes. All incentives are final.
