Public Info, Records and Transparency

The California Public Records Act provides the public with important rights to access and obtain documents, and the City of Claremont strives for government transparency through its records management and imaging programs for online access to official City documents.

Public Records Requests
An extensive collection of the City's permanent documents are available in the Document Archive for download at anytime, and requests for assistance with the archive may be made to the City Clerk's office directly.


Catalog of Enterprise Systems

Taxpayer Protection Act

The Taxpayer Protection Act places certain requirements and restrictions on Councilmembers for decisions they have made while in office. Attached are the Taxpayer Protection Act reference sheets.


Local Appointment List (Maddy Act)

In compliance with the requirements of the Maddy Act, California Government Code Section §54972, the following appointment list of the City of Claremont's Council-appointed commission and committee members is posted on an annual basis by December 31. The City of Claremont encourages residents to apply for positions in efforts to build an applicant pool representative of the entire community. The names on this list are subject to change based on resignations or terminations that occur during the year.
